  • WHAT TRAINING DO YOU DO WITH PUPPIES BEFORE PLACEMENT?
We introduce puppies to: *ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) *Litter box training as well as potty training *Crate training *Basic training, i.e., sit/calm, name recognition, leash tolerance, potty on command *Many socialization and desensitization activities We believe this training will help puppies be confident and well adjusted to all different living arrangements, and will need to be continued and reinforced with their new family to become life long habits. Please visit Our Program page for more detailed information on everything we do with puppies before they leave our home.
  • DO YOU DO EARLY NEUROLOGICAL STIMULATION (ENS) WITH THE PUPPIES?
Yes, we do. Starting at 3 days old, we work with each puppy performing a series of short exercises daily. Puppies who’ve undergone these exercises have been found to have improved cardio, stronger heart beats, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease.
  • DO YOU REMOVE DEW CLAWS?
After much research and careful consideration, we have discontinued the practice of dew claw removal after coming to these conclusions: --Dew claws serve many purposes in mobility, agility and overall functionality for a dog (think of human thumbs). --The removal of dew claws can lead to pain and arthritis at the site of removal early in the dog's life. --Dew claw injury is not as common as believed, and in our mind, does not outweigh the risks of removal. --Dew claws are easily taken care of with regular clipping of nails and grooming, lessoning further the chances of injury or snag. We encourage you to do your own research and talk with your vet about dew claws if you are still concerned about leaving them intact. They can easily be removed at the time of Spay/Neuter.
  • WHAT AGE CAN I BRING MY PUPPY HOME?
We keep puppies until they are 8 weeks old. A big chunk of their learning and training happens right up to this point. We will do our best to accommodate all pickup and delivery times, however, if pickup/delivery is not done by 8 weeks old, a boarding/training fee of $25 per day will be applied. If you are unable to pick up puppy by 9 weeks old, it may be best to wait for a future litter. For more information on what we do with our puppies before placement, please click here.

We are happy to help coordinate delivery of your puppy to any major airport in the United States.
